Huanui College

Gathering content; images and text for this project was a challenge accepted by Ash Fuchs, Publications and Media and Teacher at Huanui College. The success of this project can be largely attributed to the work of Ash. Her work liaising with all involved at the school, allowed the team at Monster Creative to focus on creating a modern website design and build.

From an original pitched design we began to flesh out each section and each page design as the content was made available.  A lot changed throughout the process and the design evolved as we broke down what the best attributes of Huanui College are. With the website needing to serve students, whanau and the community, it also needed to be a strong marketing tool to attract new enrolments from outside areas.

This project involved:

• Custom website design
• A custom website build using WordPress
• 6 different page template designs
• Integrations with Mail Chimp, Facebook and Instagram
• Categorised event feeds onto the home page timeline
